Fight Clubs

Jesus says those who follow him are in the midst of a war in which they have been commanded to fight. To fight against sin, Satan, and the powers of hell. To fight for truth, for others, and for joy.

We do this together in Fight Clubs. In groups of 2-3 we hammer the grace of God into our heart until it determines who we are. We are uncomfortably honest with our struggles because we hate sin and love Jesus. We abandon that ridiculous “Jesus-and-me” attitude that has isolated us from other Christians. We allow others into our brokenness because it pushes us to depend on the gospel. We get serious about God’s Word and stop piddling around with a verse a day like a child. We see God’s Spirit transform us as we consistently look for Jesus in the Scriptures. We pray for lost friends and see God save them as we purposefully weave them into our lives and mission.

Jesus fought, died, and rose to destroy the enemies that are killing you, and he’s calling you to join the fight.
