Near Southside sweeps FW Weekly 2011 Best of Edition
The Fort Worth Weekly released its 2011 Best Of edition on Thursday, Sept. 29 and the Fairmount neighborhood and Near Southside – the Rooted’s stomping ground – won loads of Reader’s Choice awards. Several Magnolia Avenue restaurants won awards throughout the article for their prize dishes, with Avoca, Spiral Diner, The Usual, and Shinjuku Station winning multiple awards.
